Professional Document Translation
Do you need a document translated accurately into English? I am a linguist and available to translate Dutch documents into English. I perform careful document translations into English, taking time to ensure accurate translation and attention to detail in translated document preparation.
I studied the German language three years secondary
and post-secondary school combined. I lived in the Netherlands two years where I studied and used the Dutch language daily. Since that European residency, language study, and cultural immersion experience, I have translated Dutch documents into English freelance approaching three decades.
I earned industry training and certification in medical transcription. For over two decades, I have translated Dutch and transcribed English medical and legal dictation towards accurate medical and legal documents for hospitals and private practicing physicians as well as law firms and individual attorneys.
During my Dutch residency, I further studied the German, Italian, and French languages. I completed the Rosetta Stone three-level Dutch courses, advancing my professional skill and knowledge working with Dutch languages to the CEFR C2 Mastery level and to the B2 intermediate level for French, Italian, and German. I use the CafeTran Espresso CAT tool and translate from Dutch knowledge and reference material sources. I do not rely on machine translation or AI to process translations. I can accept Dutch source files in Word, PDF, HTML, XTML, Trados TTX, or a universal XLIFF and deliver a clean translation by return email in Word format.
